LEADERSHIP PROFILE: Mr. Tom Okwuehi Bruce Ogboi (Chairman)
Mr. Tom Okwuehi Bruce Ogboi is the Chairman of The Ehi Consulting Ltd. He began his distinguished insurance career in 1971 at United Nigeria Insurance Company Limited, a subsidiary of Commercial Union Assurance PLC (now Aviva Insurance PLC), which was the largest private insurance company in Nigeria at the time. After undergoing advanced insurance training at Commercial Union Assurance in London, he rose through the ranks to serve as the Acting Managing Director of the Nigerian company before retiring into private entrepreneurship in 2002.
An alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School, Mr. Ogboi also attended Yaba College of Technology, the University of Lagos, and Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He is a highly respected member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, the Chartered Nigerian Institute of Management, and the Computer Society of Nigeria. Throughout his career, he has represented Nigeria at numerous local and international insurance and economic development conferences, including the AIO, WAICA, and the Commonwealth Business Council.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Ogboi is deeply committed to mentoring and educational philanthropy. He is active in worldwide Christian evangelism and serves as an international officer of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International.
